School Closure

  •  September 01, 2017

Dear Parents,

Harvey is still causing devastation over Texas. Some of our staff and Harmony families lost everything, some are living at shelters or with friends or family. For those who are still struggling, I want you to know that you are in our prayers.

Like other local school districts, we would like to give our staff, parents and our school admins time to clean up and prepare for school. We decided to close the schools for one more week, September 5-9th. Classes will resume on Monday, September 11th, 2017.

When we return we want our students to have as much normalcy as possible so we want them to come to school. Don't worry about uniforms, supplies, or food. We will work together to make sure they have everything they need. You may not be able to communicate with us at this time and that is no problem. You may come into the office the day students return and speak to me or the front office and inform us of your needs.

If there is anything we can help with between now and then, please let us know. We can start gathering/collecting supplies, food, clothes, household items, or anything else you may need, or help with clean up.

We are here for you!
